Help, New investor

Ok so I was going to start investing in tax deeds in Hillsborough county Florida, now I am unsure, I have read so many bad things about tax deed sales. I was wondering if this is a good way to invest. I plan on using $2000 to start. If this is not a good way to invest what would be a better way. I plan to flip them and get a quick return.

@Steven Paul

I started with less money.  $1000 .  I invested in a direct mail campaign with the plan to wholesale and build capital.  I used @Jerry Puckett  for direct mail with great success.  6 weeks later I closed my first deal producing $10,500.  I still use Jerry to this day.  I have two deals closing this month!
