Has anybody been part of a specific performance suit. What are the costs to mount the lawsuit and how successful are they against the defendant. Can this be brought to a small claims court

Replied

I am doing one now my first one in 4 decades in the industry.  So far cost are minimal since seller won't respond. We tried for default but judge wants a hearing before he rules.  I suppose if seller is no show.  We will have our proposed order signed.   Probably at this point I would say  10k should be our legal fees.

Small claims I doubt would work in this type of action
