do i have to pay cash at the auction?

hello ive seen many listings on zillow that say "auction" and the price starts at 60k for example. most of those houses are in need of work, which is ok im looking for a fixer upper. my question is, do you have to pay cash for those houses or how is that work? thank you for any answers.
