Hello BP...I have been a member for over a year but I've never posted a topic, just read the boards, contributed a little and listened to the Podcasts! So now I have decided to come out of hiding and I have a question about buying land.

I'll be attending an auction soon and they have a lot of land that's for sale. I've never bought land and it's rarely talked about...so I have a few questions.

1. What's your experience buying land?

2. Have you ever a bought a wooded lot and how much did it cost to remove all of the wood and prep for building?

3. Have you ever bought land to just hold for a while? If so, how did it go?

4. Other tips

Thanks for all of your help in advance...you guys are all awesome!
