Is investing is Detroit Michigan a good idea ? I'm interested in buying wholesale properties at a great price!!  What are some of the pros and cons in investing in Detroit as far as renting and fixing and flipping ?

Right now the market is hot everywhere which means it's favorable for fix and flipping because you'll get top dollar if it's in a good location and you do a good job adding value. Buy and hold in Detroit, not a good idea at all. The market (housing prices) already already recovered in detroit so you won't get much value and it's a top 5 most moved OUT of city in America.
