Financing a property under 40k
Anyone know who finances homes with a sales price under 40k?

@Brandon P., are you buying locally? I wasn't aware there were homes in California for under $40k. Here in SE Michigan homes in that price range are common but many of the large banks are still not interested in writing loans for them. Your best bets would probably be credit unions or local banks. Another alternative may be private lenders. Many private lenders, especially if they are new to the game, will be more comfortable writing a smaller loan than a larger one--they are often more interested in security than profit, return of capital vs. return on capital.
