Disclosing Lien(s) on Forclosure

Hello,

I am possibly putting an offer down on what would be my first house to rehab, but I am concerned about any potential liens that might be on the house since it is a foreclosure. If I am going through a real estate agent in the state of Pennsylvania, are they required to disclose the lien information? Where can I go myself to find out if there are any liens?

Thank you so much in advance for your advice!

Lien searches are the domain of the title company. You have the property under agreement to be conveyed free and clear of liens, title search finds unsatisfied liens, those unsatisfied liens get paid from seller's proceeds, title insurance is obtained to be certain nothing was missed.
