I'm headed to the trustee sale this Wednesday to try to buy myself a new personal residence! The credit bid from the bank is $400k. Tax appraisal is $1.16 million and my guess is closer to $900-$1000k. Most investors at the auctions near me don't wanna flip a million dollar house so I'm pretty hopeful that no one else will bid on it. The first mortgage is the only lien on the property. The house is about 8,000 sq ft on a river with a pool, hot tub and boat dock.
