Is this a good deal?

I am new to flipping and I am looking at a single family home that is a 3 BR 2 BA with a three car detached garage. The asking price is $99,000 and the tax value is $139,700. The kitchen and baths need updating, deck needs repairs and it needs a new roof.  I am still waiting on financing to be approved but want to be ready one it is. My fiance will do most of the work. Thanks for your help!

Only you can determine whether this is a good deal or not.

Determine the after repair value.  Tax value means nothing.  What are houses like your selling for.

Determine your cost of rehab including your labor.

Determine your required rate of return on your investments.

These are the things you need to know before you can decide whether this is a good deal.

Good Luck.

Bill
