How do you keep your PITI reserves?

Hey everybody,

When financing/refinancing investment property, it seems a 6 month PITI reserve is the normal requirement for all properties owned. For some people, this is a sizable amount of money. I would think most BPers would hate having a large sum of cash sitting in a checking account, so I'm curious as to how you allocate these funds. Thanks in advance for your comments.

@Ben Stout That's exactly what you do.  As long as you know that ahead of time, it isn't a problem.  Remember the golden rule.
