First time home purchase with future rental plans-Mt. Rainier MD
Hello BP members,
I am looking to purchase a home in Mt. Rainier MD to live in for the next few years with the plan to rent it out for cash flow and a long term investment strategy when I relocate. Does anyone here have any thoughts about home buying in this area? Would it be better to seek out FSBO or foreclosure properties to get into the market vs. waiting for properties to list through the realtor companies?
I know that there are a couple builders looking into the area and they must have a line on pre-market fixer-uppers. How do I tap into that?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
