Pre-foreclosure investing

Hello I am a new investor in Florida. I have been trying to break in to the investing arena through the aquisition of foreclosure listings with the intent to wholesale or fix and flip. This has proven to be a very challenging and cumbersome process. the more I get in to this business the more I hear that pre-foreclosures and distressed owners may be a better allocation of my time and efforts. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good resource for me to learn from on the best way to find these homes and more importantly how to incorporate this avenue into my business model.
