Wholesaler property on mls

I was wondering, how does a wholesaler sell an reo that is already on the MLS. Won't buyers just make their offers straight to the bank or the agent who holds the listing? What advantages are there for the investor as far as buying from the wholesaler?

Wholesaling a bank reo that is listed on mls is out of the question. Most banks have language that prohibits this but even in still, an investor would just buy it directly through the listing. If you win the contract on a MLS reo then you probably won't have enough spread to wholesale it anyway.

95% of the time any property that I get from a wholesaler that is on the MLS, I ignore. Wholesalers typically get their deals from direct marketing and these properties don't go on the MLS.
