Single family versus multi family for first time investor

Hi All,

I am relatively puzzled as a new investor whether I need to invest in single or multifamily homes. I would appreciate if someone would provide some insight to each category; like pros and cons for each.

I went from single family homes to multi-family. The biggest thing I noticed is multi-family more mgmt intensive even with a property mgmt company but much more profitable.
