How do agents market upcoming open houses for their properties?
How do agents market upcoming open houses for their properties other than posting to Instagram and setting the open house times on the MLS?
I'm not sure about other markets/states/cities etc., but here in Pittsburgh, PA I see a ton of listings marketed on Facebook. I know it is similar to Instagram but there are so many real estate groups on Facebook that have (tens of) thousands of agents/investors/home buyers and once you join, you can market the property in general but also market the open house. Hope this helps!

Social Media is king. You can boost posts to bring more eyes, hard to beat having thousands of eyes by doing a post and boosting it. Other than social doing signs are an easy way to attract. You can cold call or door knock the neighbors. You can do mass emails to other agents so they can bring their buyers during that time.

So if an agent is not strong in using social media, are there services they can outsource this task to?

There is content managers but they are often expensive. You can find a VA or a younger person to pay. Social media is simple to post on though. Takes little time. Just need consistency

@James McGovern I use specific sign riders stating Open This Saturday 1-3PM and directional signs if allowed in area. Neighbors can then let friends, family etc know about it even if they don’t usually look where mls distributes the info. Motivated buyers driving the area usually see the open sign and try to get in before the Open.
