Partnerships for New Investors

What is the best way/place to find a partner (financial) when you are just starting and have little experience.

As a Construction guy (Project Manager) with knowledge and resources - what are some good ways/angles to sell myself to show some value.

Where is the best place for someone like me to look for and find a Partner that would be interested in someone like me, where I would be considered beneficial?

Thanks!

Dustin R
