Buying from a deceased owner..
I have seen similar questions asked in the forum before but I will add specifics to my situation.
I want to purchase a parcel of land in Florida. Owners who are husband and wife are deceased. A gentleman responded to my offer via email stating that his wife is the executor for the deceased wife.
Generally is it enough to just have her sign the deed and have documentation such as a Death Certificate and a legal doc stating she is the executor to have the property placed in my name?

No. Have the PR/executor sign a purchase contract, and bring that to a title co. to open escrow. The title co. will tell you what other paperwork, signatures, processes, etc. that you need. Sometimes title co.s, in order to issue title insurance may require something in addition to the strict letter of the law, if they have any concerns. If you can't get title insurance, don't buy it.
