fha loan question: two properties in one sale

I know you can use fha for 1-4 unit properties. However, i am looking at a REO that is a duplex and the house right next to it all together for sale. Since this is only 3 units total can I finance it fha even though it is two different properties? I can't find anything on this googling if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate any information.
