How much to ask for earnest money?
I have a deal under contract here in Atlanta. Asking price is 115K Cash. How much is a reasonable amount to ask for in earnest money from the end buyer?

Qualifying a buyer is ensuring that the person who says they want to buy your property has the funds in hand or has the necessary loan to close on time. It also means that you ensure you're not dealing with some fantasy chasing iriot who is wasting your time. This is an issue well covered here on BP.
Going hard means you get the money if the buyer fails to close. Depends on the contract you have written for the deal.
