First Duplex - Technology To Get Started

Hi Everyone,

I need help with getting a 10,000 foot view looking down on a first property in terms of apps/tech to manage it.  What apps/tech do you all use to keep a handle on your investments? An app for collecting rent? Signing a lease? Also, are you all using business checking accounts at a local bank for rent to be submitted to or something else?

Please suggest anything else not listed, my goal is my first property by July 4th so any help is greatly appreciated!

@Kyle Zuleger

Learn your business processes before you automate or enhance through technology. You want to set up rock solid processes that are enhanced by software you don't want software to set up your processes. I see too many people write about all the software they buy to run their business when quite frankly excel and email will take care of most of it, especially when first staring out.
