How much experience should I look for in a real estate agent?

In regards to running comps.

My mom showed me a listing of a home with comps around $180k-$200k. The realtor is saying that when the house is fixed up, it will be worth $275k. It is absolutely not better than these comps. The realtor is brand new. 

How many months or years of experience do I need to look for in a real estate agent to be confident that they’re competent in running comps?
