How do I file for a lost title?

This certain MH that is trying to be sold, is now desperate and asking for any offer. It may be worth my time filing for a lost title. Is it expensive? Is it hard to do? Is it worth pursuing?

Perhaps there is a reason the seller is highly motivated. Before proceeding further, be sure the person you are dealing with has the legal right to be selling the MH. If you can track down the owner listed in the county records - check to see if they have a copy of the title. If not, they apply for a duplicate and sign it over to you. Happens all the time in this business!
