Investing in Mobile Home Rentals

Happy New Year everyone

Ive been in the very nuanced mobile home rental business now for 9 years.

We bought a mobile home park in NC in 2006. It took us 6 years to figure out a model that would work for us.

The days of renting mobile home lots to tenants who own their mobile homes are numbered.

We rent mobile homes on our rented lots and we and our investors see a regular 15% return.

We run our park more like an apartment complex than a mobile home park and we partner with our investors who own mobile homes on our lots more like a joint venture rental with a management agreement than a lot lease.

I just wanted to put this post out there to start a discussion in the case that there maybe any investors interested in the mobile home niche.
