Considering changing direction

My wife and I are foster parents for developmentally disabled children and we're considering taking on a difficult 2 year old.

My typical day involves spending most of it at a mobile home, quite a way from home.  Now I'm going to be needed at home more so am looking at alternatives.  One is to buy trailer homes.  I could park them at our home and work on them close by so I can help my wife when needed.

It seems I remember posts from some members who do this and am looking for advice.  Is it better to focus on vintage trailers like Airstream, Streamline, etc or just run of the mill trailers.  Is there a market to rent them out?  How about offering financing?

I appreciate any advice.

Harold
