Is it possible to own a mobile home park and manage from out of state?

Hi fellow BP's!

Heard great things about mobile home park investing. For those who have experience with this niche, is it possible for me to complete due dilligence and also own an entire park and run it from out of state? Of course, I would hire a resident park manager / or offsite property manager to collect rent and handle maintenance for me.... Anyone who is an expert in this niche who can help me with due dilligence consulting let me know. I am about to reach out to Mr. Jefferson Lilly too. I have seen many SFH unseen and also have PM's run it no issues but wonder if I can apply the same concept with mobile parks....

Jessie,

We recently bought 5 MHP's in Middle Georgia and are running it from DC/Baltimore Metro.  It's a value add  project so more management intense from up here but it can be done.  Key is good people on the ground!

Hope that helps a little bit.

James
