What does the BP Score mean?

I noticed many BP members have a score next to their name. What does this score indicate? How is it calculated?

Hi @Kristen Ray and @Lisa V. . I'm assuming you're asking about the Top Contributor list in the upper right corner of forum threads? The score is a combination of votes and posts over the last few weeks. The top three contributors to any particular forum make the list, and the score is calculated by some top secret algorithm. The most quality posts you make, the higher your chance to be on the Top Contributor's list.
