Looking for your Dream House? Consider this...

My dream house was 4 houses ago. Ugly as sin but a nice yard. Great location.

I made it pretty, sold it and bought my next dream house, also ugly as sin, but with a great yard.

I made it pretty, too. Then sold it and bought my next one. But this one was beautiful and enormous. Two weeks in, I was itching to sell.

I now live in a home 1/4 the size of that last house, and this one is truly my dream home.

It took me a while, but I figured out that my dream home isn't enormous. My dream home is just enough for me to live in.

Looking for your dream house? Chad Carson has figured out the  dream home , too. Read his latest post from The BiggerPockets Blog.

@Mindy Jensen...Actually downsizing..I'm considering several options..Self build small 1600 sq ft home(own the land), purchase 4 plex(live in unit 1 yr), move into a free/clear property that needs updating.....Brain always in investing mode..Empty nesters, so we have a lot of flexibility...Any tips or advice...thx
