Losing Votes with the New system?

I'm pretty sure that there are votes that aren't being added on to my total that shows next to my forum posts.

Anyone else notice this?

I'm confident that this is what happened as I was looking at a post that I got an email alert on and noticed it said I had an alert along the top when I was reading so I clicked on it and saw it was a vote.  Clicked on it to see what it was and when I was looking I thought the number was what it had been.  At this point I assumed I just remembered wrong.

However I clicked on another thread and a few minutes later noticed I had another alert which happened to be another new vote.  Clicked though on that and it was the same number I already thought was low.

FYI I don't think they are totally "lost" as I did click around a little and went to my dashboard and saw that the new posting score thing was up like >20% from this morning so I assume that is mostly because of those votes.
