Frequent 522 Errors
@Joshua Dorkin I've been getting Error 522 frequently over the last few days (week). Failure pointing to possible resource hog on host server.
I've gotten it a few times today for sure. Weekend techie adjustments is what I chalked it up to... Josh will fill us in shortly.

About 25% of the time. Lost posts, mine are getting shorter. :)

This has not been going on for days -- apparently there's been a massive denial of service attack on our server facility as of today (not targeting us) and we've unfortunately been affected by it. Thanks for letting us know, but unfortunately, there's little we can do -- it should stop happening (the errors).
I'm sorry everyone -- it is as frustrating for me as it is for you if not MUCH more ;)
Maybe they were getting hit well after midnight on some nights because I received the errors previously.
If you post and get the error, hit the back button. Worked for me earlier and saved the post. I just clicked the post reply button again after clicking back.

@Carlos Flores - Around 2am PST we run some heavy scripts, so maybe you'd see the issues then, but you shouldn't otherwise. That said, we're upgrading our equipment this week, so hopefully any of those problems will disappear.

I have had trouble with the error message popping up alot the last couple of days, today has been really bad...

Hey @Laura Moore - Next time that happens, can you mark the time for me and then email us at support at biggerpockets with that information? You shouldn't be seeing any of that. We've put a lot of time, energy, and money into our infrastructure over the past months and downtime should be very close to zero at this point.
Sure will. It would have been alot of times for today but I love this site so I am persistant lol

@Travis Russell - The 500 error is very different than the 522. That shouldn't be happening either, though. Were you able to go back and try and send the message again? Did it work? The link above would need to be copied/pasted -- I don't have it set as a live link.
If you get that 500 again, email us and keep us in the loop.
The 500 code I've received a lot for the past few days. I can click back and it automatically goes through. If you click refresh, it'll send the message a second or third time. I copied/pasted the link above and it wouldn't open. I got a script page instead of an active website. Hope this helps!

Yeah - Sorry guys . . . we use a company to protect our site from outside attacks called CloudFlare and it appears that they were having some kind of problem a short bit ago. That problem appears to be resolved now.
