Contractor Work Training

Damien G.
Posted

My wife is really interested in doing contractor work. What is the best way to get her some hands on training either in the Ventura County California or Austin Texas areas?

She wants to know how to do the below items:

She wants to be able to paint the whole house inside & out, fix a leak, install toilets, patch up holes in the wall lay tile/wood in the kitchen, house diy projects & learn how to use power tools. She also wants to learn gardening & landscaping.

She knows how to prime and paint. She's currently learning how to sand.

@Damien G. My wife was at a dead end job.....like centuries ago.... and needed a change. She came and joined me in my business and loved it. From Ventura County to Austin is a lot of real estate to cover lol. My advice is to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. There she will learn valuable skills from actual volunteer contractors. From these connections, she can offer her services for a fee even from these connections.  Earn while you learn.
