Working With Contractors

Good afternoon,

As an independent contractor/business owner, I wanted to get advice from experienced property owners in working with contractors. What exactly do you look for when hiring an individual to work on your property? What are some red flags? Anything helps!

Thanks,

Jesus

@Jesus Diaz the #1 thing that I look for and recommend to anyone is a referral from another experienced investor.  That's usually where we have our best results - another investor that has used that specific vendors services and can vouch for them.  Now, if I can read into your post a little...if you are asking "How can I market myself to other investors" then there are several ways of doing this.  Connect with some local Real Estate Investor groups in your area.  Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too. Even facebook might have some good local groups for you.  Connect with those local investors.  You might be surprised a what you can find.  Thanks!
