As an independent contractor/business owner, I wanted to get advice from experienced property owners in working with contractors. What exactly do you look for when hiring an individual to work on your property? What are some red flags? Anything helps!

Good morning,

My name is Jesus Diaz and I am an avid listener of the BP podcast. I’m posting on this forum to put my name out there and to find someone willing to teach me in my area. I am looking for a mentor or teacher to show me the ropes with flipping, finding deals, long term/short term rentals in exchange for a hard working individual with a lot of construction knowledge. I currently have started my own construction business and I currently work with contractors on house flips until I have enough capital to get my GC license myself.
