Order of Operations-- Rehab Edition (Please Help)

Aaron Bito
Posted

Good Evening All,

Hopefully I'll have my contractor picked out in about a month, however I was trying to understand the order in which I should have people do work on my house. For example, like I know I should have the electricians come do their work before the sheetrock/wall guys come and do their job. However, what are some more common order (or uncommon) that I should know about so I can avoid making a few fatal mistakes. Thank you so much!

You need to hire a General Contractor and let him run the job. He will have his own subs and arrange the order that they work. Your only job is to pay him when he is done.
