What is considered a bedroom in Cleveland

Deonicio Parham
Posted

My wife and I recently starting our investment journey.  We’ve decided on Cleveland Ohio.  A question I have for the Cleveland contractors is what is considered a bedroom space within a house.  We recently purchased a duplex and since we are from California the realtor said to be considered a bedroom, all you need is a window you can climb out of in case of an emergency, for the fire department.  In California, you have to have a closet to be considered a bedroom.  Is this true to be considered a bedroom all you have to have is a window, for fire department to access?

You need a window, closet, door and a minimum ceiling height. Ceiling height minimum is like 7 or 7 and a half feet or something around there.
