I moved to USA 18 months ago from Canada. I am about to buy a house as first time home buyer in Charlotte NC. DCU said it usually they need 2 years of w2’s and their underwriting team will know if they approve or reject. So can anyone help here if mortgage can be approved easily for my case? What’s the best rates in the market please

@Raju Charlotte Credit score will also play a huge role in your approval. Employment can be talked through with your lender. Give a couple local lenders a call and explain your situation. I guarantee by call 5 you will have some clear answers!

Don't fall prey to the loan salesmen though, all day long they will just try to get you to apply for th loan and say just about anything to get you to do it.
