Found tax sale signs posted

Hey everyone

so I found 2 properties that have tax sale signs posted on them, I’m assuming this is like an auction because it says that it is foregoing execution to be sold on June 4th at the tax commissioners office.

have do these deals usually go if you get them under contract? Are you responsible for the unpaid taxes? How does it work?

Thank you

-Summer

@Summer Hall

You will need to track down the owner(s) and get this property under contract. Keep in mind, a contract to purchase will not likely stop the auction, so you will have to pay at least 1 year's taxes, to remove it from the auction list.

Whatever your plans are with this property, the remaining taxes due will be paid at closing.
