Best Practices to Develop a Pipeline

Good Afternoon All,

Over my time in the industry I’ve encountered one question from new/newer LOs repetitively. Until now, I never actually realized I don’t have a decent answer to it now that I’m in charge of training a few newbies. The question is as follows:

“How do I develop my pipeline?” Or “What’s the fastest way to fill my Pipeline?”

Now, am I wrong when I tell these girls/guys there really is not fast way to develop/fill a pipeline? I’m giving them resources such as leads to call, dates and times for local events to network, and having them listen in on calls/meetings when possible.

Am I missing something or letting these people down or are they simply looking to shortcut their way to success?

Your time and feedback are greatly appreciated!

what I see is lenders sitting at our new housing tracks every weekend.. so that they can pre qual walk in's I think a lender stands a better chance of picking up clients at open houses than the agents do.

The bottom line though is working with a company that can make their own decisions and closes tough loans and easy loans with quickly.  AS yo know much of the pipeline comes from your realtors referring clients.
