Do you think it's better to put the 20% down and avoid PMI vs to put the 5% and keep the leftover in the bank for another investment ???

@Matt P.

I found a bank that I'm able to avoid PMI with 15% down with an owner occupied conventional . I was planning on living in the property for a period of time and look into an investment properly shortly after, most likely a duplex . The PMI seemed a little high . They stated it would be around 1% of the Loan. I planned on making the property a hold because it's in a upcoming trendy area (Ohio city ).
