Hey all, just curious what proper protocol is for shopping potential lenders. Can I email, call, or is face-to-face the only way for me to figure out what different lenders are able to do? Thanks in advance!

There's no real protocol, I would say.  But if you're shopping around, just be upfront and tell them you're shopping around.

Oh, find the ones that wants to know all details about what you're trying to do instead of ones that just says "yes I can do that" over and over.

Not much of an insight but hope this helps, good luck!
