Important question to speed along my progress as an Investor...In the Boston area to South Shore, which banks have you been using that will loan you money for Real Estate Investing? Preferably I'm looking for community banks, but anything helps, thanks!

@Account Closed: Community Banks have identified a niche to work with the community and invest in the community, but they are still tied to banking risk, capitalization and regulation. So while one can name names, you may get a push back one day and a welcome mat the very next day depending on the banks current situation of loans, due to the fact that most of such investor loans are portfolio loans. Building relationships with as many of the senior commercial loan officers at the community banks will enable you to tap into as many resources as you can.

Look at also names like Needham Savings Bank, Digital Credit Union, Brookline Bank, Dedham Bank, Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, Bristol County. Disclosures: I do not work for them and do not know their status on their investor loan capacity.
