17 and want to become an agent at 18, what can I do right now?

I currently have about half a year until I’m able to get my real estate license and was wondering what I can do right now to get into real estate as soon as possible. Should I be networking to find a mentor to guide me right now or wait until I get my license? I’d appreciate any help.
