Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew of a strategy to find new construction homes for sale in the Metro Atlanta area? I’ve been having a hard time finding a new construction home under $200k. It seems like everyone stopped building in that price range. I’m wondering what strategies or methods do you use in order to find out what’s coming soon or what’s out there that’s not listed?

New Home Source website is a good resource for new homes.  I think the trick is there are not many in the 200K range any more.  There are prices increases in materials and a shortage of labor, so many builders have decided if they have limited resources and can sell more expensive homes, they'll shift price range focus.

The other think you can do is have a realtor set you up with a search specifically to get new built homes in the area and price range you want.  I'm not familiar with ATL market, but I expect there is probably some smaller builders that build 1-2-3 at a time that buy lots in town and build as fast as they can....but are slower than the national builders and don't advertise like they do.
