Recommendation for Broker in Chester County PA

I am interested to become a part-time agent and currently taking online classes for the exam. I am very new to this process and would really appreciate any recommendation on finding a broker to hang my license with in Chester county, PA.

I have a flexible full-time job as a data engineer and I plan to keep that. But I would love to learn more about real estate investing.

@Chu L. I was in your same situation, full time engineering job (in the military) but wanting to be a licensed agent to work part time and for investing.  I ended up with eXp Realty as it was the only option that provided enough support, training, and local mentorship to new agents while also being completely flexible for me to work and get training outside of work.

Many investors choose a flat fee, which can work great for some, but I wanted to more than work for myself and to be decent I needed real training and hands on mentorship.  But I wanted to avoid high fees and the stigma some brokerages have toward "part timers."  It's great for part timers because you're not paying for what you don't use (franchise, office, etc.), and you are given all the training and support that everyone else gets, regardless of how big or little of a producer you are.

Another perk for investors is that eXp give 3 personal transactions a year at 100% commission (including investments). So to me - why not!  Investors also like the perks of equity and cash flow options the model provides. I'd certainly consider it as an option - and interview multiple options.  Of course one model isn't right for everyone.

Best of luck!
