Future real estate agent

Posted

Hello All!

I’m just getting started out with Real Estate. I just signed myself up to take the required courses to be able to move forward with becoming a licensed agent, I’m 24 and live in California. All this is new to me and the only information I have is from the research I’ve been doing. I have no peers or relatives that are agents and I thought I’d come on here and ask what are some recommendations that anyone has for new upcoming agents and any information you believe will be valuable to me in the long run. Thank you so much in advance!

Reach out to several agents in your market and try to schedule a conversation with them about being an agent. Many agents will make time for you, because they'll want to try to recruit you to their brokerage or team. You'll also get some rejection, but that's part of being an agent anyway. I've done this job in several different states and markets, and there differences everywhere. I think it's most important to find people that are successful where you are.
