1. Treat it like a business. That means you get out of it what you put into it. Sit behind a desk waiting for business to fall on your lap will get you nowhere. You've got to get out and hustle.

2. Don't buy leads. If buying leads were productive, they would already be bought up by people faster and more experienced than you. The leads you purchase are worthless.

3. Get an education. If you have a good broker, they'll provide some education. If not, you'll have to go find it. Nobody is responsible for your education but you.

4. The best part of being your own boss? You get to choose which 70 hours you work each week.
