Starting Off Real Estate Agent Career

Hey everyone! Starting in August I plan to sign up for online classes to obtain my real estate license and become a certified agent. However I do plan on becoming an investor as well and been too caught up with educating myself about different methods of investing, I forgot that to become an investor, I first need to succeed in a career to save up money, which is where becoming a real estate agent comes in. Where I need help in is finding out where to start. Is there anyone that can recommend podcasts, books, articles, anything to improve my knowledge on agents? I want to learn as much as possible right now during this pandemic so I can be ready to go and take action as soon as we are allowed to resume our normal lives.

There are a lot of good podcasts and inexpensive trainers like Kevin Ward. There are also great books like "Your First 365 Days In Real Estate" or Millionaire areal Estate Agent and Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller. The problem is that too many people never put any of it into practice.

tlThe truth is, you have to grind and work and sweat and toil. You need to work a minimum 8 hours a day 5 days a week and treat it like a business. There are more free resources available than you can shake a stick at but agents keep reading, watching, listening...but never putting into practice.

Find a single trainer, like Kevin Ward, read his book or take his classes, and then put it in practice. And practice. And practice. You will develop a business, discipline, and learned enough along the way to figure out what works and doesn't work and continue to improve.
