Property under contract when ?

I put a property under contract 4 days back and still showing as active. Seller’s realtor is unwilling to change the status to under contract is it legal or ethical practice?? What to do ?

What do you mean by, "I put a property under contract"? Did the seller sign your offer and hand you a copy? Until you have a signed agreement in your hands, it is not under contract.

once it's under contract, why do you care if it's advertised?
