Generating Buyer leads

My wife is currently a real estate agent in San Antonio, TX and we are curious what are some solid methods of generating leads?
Currently she has received leads from people she knows and would like to take this a step further. Our goal is for her to quit her full time job and have a go at it as a realtor fulltime.

Fred,
The idea is not that a builder/other agent would pay her 6% to "list the property on Craigslist." the builder will pay whatever % they pay to any realtor. The idea is find Buyers, by advertising properties on Craigslist...Buyers in general, not buyers that will necessarily buy the particular advertised properties..
