Hi! Im a 29 yr old recently moved to Orange County. And I work in Automotive sales industry and want to get into real estate Investing. I thought the best way to do it is to be in the business.

Do anyone have any career advice for me? Any current real estate agent around LA or Orange County have any tips for me to make it in this industry? Everyone told me it’s gonna be challenging and not a lot of agent make it in this business. But I’m in sales already so I understand the grind. Any insight would help :)))

@Chu Cheng  Welcome to Orange County.  Are you looking for full time or part time work?  Is your license with a brokerage already?  Where in the OC do you live?  This is my advise to you:

1.  Join a brokerage that will cater to your needs.  Traditional Real Estate, Investments, etc.

2.  You will need a mentor when you first start out or else you will get lost in a big office environment.

3. Only join an office if you are serious about selling and buying real estate or helping others as the local MLS fees are around $900, lockbox key $10, so it can get expensive very quickly.

4.  I would NOT focus too much on commission breakdown as you are new and your focus should be learning what you want and what will make you successful.

Good investing...
