@Adam Bearup so the best way to find someone in your area is to use the search feature with the zip code. Find those folks that contribute and read some of their posts and you can see who fits with what you are interested in. After that send them a colleague request and meet them in person. Check them out beyond Bigger Pockets as well.

I'm sure your inbox will fill up with "pick me" messages. To put you in charge of the process seek them out and you will have a lot less chaff to sift through.
